Nono is one lucky cat to be alive after impaling himself. He came in last week with a hole in his side about 3 cm x 3cm. It turned out that the hole went through his muscle all the way to his spine, then ran 15cm!!! along it. Miraculously it didn’t puncture his chest or abdomen which would have called for much more surgery. There is a building site next door so it’s likely to have been a metal rod embedded in a concrete block. He’s now recuperating and relaxing at home.
